This Sunday Brian Cox will be preaching. The title of his sermon is “A strange covenant”. The Encyclopaedia Britannica defines covenant as: “A binding promise of far-reaching importance in the relations between individuals, groups, and nations.”
Genesis Fifteen describes a covenant that God made with Abram, the details of which seem very strange to modern eyes. The immediate focus of this covenant was Abram and his descendants but it vitally touches all believers, even you and me today.
