Encouraging Ourselves in the Lord Our God – Ridgeway Community Church

This Sunday Dr David Mackereth from Kidderminster will be preaching from the first book of Samuel, chapter 30. His title for the message is “Encouraging ourselves in the Lord our God”.
David had met with a sudden and immediate crisis in which all around him were blaming him, and even speaking of stoning him. His only recourse was to the Lord his God. As Christians we face many challenges in life.
Some crises come upon us suddenly and without warning. What did David do? How would we encourage ourselves in the Lord Jesus Christ under such circumstances?
