The Kingdom of Heaven Is like… – Ridgeway Community Church

This Sunday our preacher is Nathan Gray from Manor Park Evangelical church Worcester. Nathan refers to two parables Jesus told.
The parables of the hidden treasure and the pearl both begin: ‘the kingdom of heaven is like…’ What do they have to tell us about the kingdom of heaven? These two parables are particularly concerned with the preciousness of eternal life, comparing it to the joyful surprise of discovering treasure and the fulfilling find of a valuable pearl. The overwhelming worth of eternal life also leads us to consider what price we are willing to pay for it and the urgency of its offer.”
